CSEC 102 – Series of 4 Modules
WestCoast Children’s Clinic is providing an Advanced CSEC 102
- January 18th: 9-1pm Module 1
- January 19th: 9-1pm Module 2
- January 25th: 9-1pm Module 3
- January 26th: 9-1pm Module 4
These trainings focus on best practices for serving youth that are commercially sexually exploited. Topics covered include: common dynamics when serving and supporting commercially exploited youth, how the trauma of exploitation impacts the behavior, health, help-seeking, general engagement, and healing of youth who have been exploited, and a consideration of the role of substance in exploitation and trauma. We will also practice utilizing helpful engagement frameworks including: trauma reenactments, the stages (cycle) of change, motivational interviewing techniques and trauma-informed care.
These trainings are free, open to parents, caregivers, community providers, law enforcement, and child welfare staff. * This one is featured in the Central Valley Region, but attendees from other regions are now welcome. Additionally please note to receive credit you must register and attend for four sessions.

This training will be offered remotely (via zoom) for the foreseeable future. In order to best accommodate schedules and capacity to participate in a training on zoom, the training is offered in four hour sequential training modules across four days. Please ensure that you are able to attend the entirety of the training in order to receive credit for attending.
